Chosen by CDP as a Leading Company of Climate Disclosure Leadership Index for the Third Consecutive Year



Komatsu Ltd. (President : Tetsuji Ohashi) (hereinafter "Komatsu") was identified as a Japan leader for the quality of climate change related information that it disclosed to investors and the global marketplace through CDP, the international not-for-profit that drives sustainable economies. It was therefore awarded a position on the Japan 500 Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI). This is the third consecutive year for KOMATSU.

Disclosure to CDPs climate change program is at the request of 822 investors who represent US$95 trillion in assets. The reported data was independently assessed against CDPs scoring methodology and marked out of 100. Those organizations graded within the top 10% of responding companies the CDLI.
KOMATSU has scored 100.

Komatsu believes that environmental conservation efforts should be a top-priority management task, when fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and ensuring sustainable growth. Based on this belief, Komatsu is making proactive efforts to reduce environmental impact, including GHG emissions, in all business activities.
